Seeing as it is just slightly more than a week after New Years, everyone is talking about how much Juice, as well as the flavors, they hope to have drank by the end of the Year; some may have even started squeezing... but we all know how likely it is that everyone will get their fill. Why is that?
- The Juice is the only desire, so any non-zero amount of effort will be a deal breaker.(Really not something beneficial)
- The Juice isn't as sweet as imagined, so we give up after our first sip.(This could be a non-mutually beneficial career or relationship. Great book on that actually.)
- We get a huge amount at the beginning, but returns quickly diminish so that it becomes exponentially harder to extract the next unit of Juice.(Powerlifting is a great example of this, I was deadlifting 400 pounds in less than 2 years, 4 years later I am still yet to reach 500. Or you could read Dave Tate's article on the Dead Zone to get a more colorful explanation.)
- I wrote about the final reason a few days ago(just popped my plug cherry)... you're just squeezing and squeezing, but no Juice is coming out.
There isn't any shortcut, just have to start squeezing.
